       Why study in Russia?

  • Russia has always been in the forefront in the field of education and more specifically medicine, engineering, aviation, aerospace and other fields.
  • Many countries are represented on the campus and each student makes a unique contribution to the life of the institution, both academically and culturally.
  • The Russian Universities, traditionally occupy leading position in the world. Many of the medical Universities find a place in the World Health Organization (WHO)'s "Directory of World Medical Schools". This listing make a student graduating from such University eligible to appear for many of the screening tests like the USMLE, PLAB and also the newly introduced "Screening examination" conducted by the National Board Of Examinations, India, under the directive of the Medical Council of India.
  • Many of the Universities have been established way back in 1755, like the I.M. Sechenove Moscow Medical Academy, which is worldwide known and highly ranked.
  • Many of the courses are now offered with the medium of instruction in English. Evaluation of the performance of the student is designed in such a way that the progress of the student, in mastering the subjects included in the curriculum is monitored objectively and in detail. Performance of the students in the tests is evaluated as "PASSED" or "FAILED" and in examinations as "EXCELLENT", "GOOD", "SATISFACTORY" or "FAIL". The final state examination is also a very important part of the higher educational assessment process in Russia. These methods constitute comprehensive evaluation systems by which the knowledge and the skills of the specialist are brought to light and the qualifications thus obtained then become very authentic and valuable.
  • 1st, September of every year is the first day of the beginning of the academic year in Russia. There are 2 semesters in Russia; September to January and February to June.
  • Knowledge and the practical skills received by the students along with the international exposure in these higher educational institutes permit them to seek various opportunities in India and abroad.
  • Russia, thus invites all potential students to join the prestigious higher educational institutes to secure their future.
  • NO capitation fees or donations are to be paid to the universities in Russia. The cost of education in the universities in Russia is highly regulated and subsidized by the Ministry of Public Health of the Russian Federation. They are very reasonable in contrast to the other universities in India and abroad.

  • It may also be observed and noted that unlike in other universities in India and abroad, students need not appear for any entrance or prequalifying exams like CET (India), GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, SAT, etc.
