The procidure for citizen's of EU or European Economic zone is bit different from those who are not citizen's of EU or European Economic zone.The following are the contries at present who are in EU or European Economic zone:

1. Austria; Belgium; Czech Republic; Denmark; France; Greece; Estonia; Italy; Ireland; Cyprus; United Kingdom; Lithuania;  Luxembourg; Malta; Netherlands; Poland; Portugal; Slovakia; Slovenia; Finland; Spain; Hungary; Germany; Sweden.
2. Iceland; Liechtenstein; Norway.
   you need to do as follows:
    

    

   • submit the application form  filled and signed by the applicant by email or post.
   • submit the xerox copy of the documents along with the application form by email or post.
   • submit the xerox copy mark sheet of High school along with the transcript by email or post.
   • submit the xerox copy of the current passport by email or post.
   • pay the fees for the processing your application, the amount and the bank account number can be received by sending email to info.sac@gmail.com
   • along with above mentioned all documents the applicant has to send the receipt or the proof that he has payed the processing charge, or else study abroad will not be able to proceed further.
   • ALL THE DOCUMENTS SENT MUST BE XEROX COPY AND IN NO CASE APPLICANT SHOULD SEND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS. STUDY ABROAD WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF ANY DOCUMENTS SENT.
3. studyabroad  conforms the applicant that his application is received and also inform him about the further procidures.
4. upon conformation of the seat in the collage the applicant will be guided further, how to get the resident permit because as per immigration rules any foreigner staying in Latvia for more than 3 months has to get resident permit.

Procedure for Gettting admission in Latvian Medical Schools for Non-EU citizens or non-European Economic zone citizens:
 

1. For those who are not citizen of EU or European Economic zone can come to Latvia thru some country where there is an Latvian embassy. Say for example students from Asian countries like India and Sri-Lanka can come thru China, as thru out Asia there is only one embassy in China. There is also Embassy in Moscow, Russia. Applicant student cannot get "Board permit" from Honorary Consuls-General. So they can choose Countries from which they can apply for getting "Board Permit". Say for example in  EU there is an embassy in London.
2. Study abroad can help the students from Asian Countries for getting Visas to Russia for getting "Board Permit" to Latvia.
